OK, this totally surprised me. I love rock and heavy metal and was reading about this bass player Billy Sheehan who only uses "rock picks" Check it out: www.wmni.net/realrock/That must take some advanced cabbing! Anybody else made anything unique or useful with their rocks?

That's an interesting concept. However, what's the point? Can a rock really make the tone of a guitar better? I've been playing guitar for a number of years and the only thing I've notice that makes a difference is the amp and the effects. Besides, a rock is thick. I like .60 dunlop myself. I don't like thick picks. They have no "flex."

This guy uses them for bass playing...i guess he likes it with the thicker strings. I'm guessing - I don't play.
