Even with the wind it looks like a great day. To paraphrase a popular bumper sticker: The worst day rockhounding is still better than the best day at work.
Definitely some tumbling stock there.

Wow what a place to get away from it all. Now I know what they meant by WIDE OPEN SPACES. Living in NJ I have to get on my boat to get that sense of openness. Oh tose rocks are cool also:) Stu

Glad you got out and had a good day John! Like unclestu in NJ I live in CT and can't imaging that much land,,,,without something being built on it! Nice finds too,,,,,,it might help a bit to carry a spray bottle to help determine the keepers from the leaverights!

Looks like it was a great time, John. Gorgeous country and great photos. Always enjoyed my business trips to Colorado, it's such a beautiful state.
