Its some junk stuff an artist friend had left from a project. Scraps. It is ceramic and glass, and I have no idea how he did it. He says he can fire it higher to get more shine. And he can add more clear glass to make it more translucent and agate like. His name is Mike Sherrill so I call it Sherrillite.

I have worked with ceramic slip and I worked with glass fret but not at the same time he did a nice job on them Walt

That is pretty darn neat!! You know, carving/cutting glass produces some outstanding effects. A lot of gallery glass pieces are done using 'rough' glass pieces shaped with lapidary tools and equipment. It gives all forms of glass a completely different look.
I love that effect tho! It's so organic!! Especially that last one.

Just back from Cocoa Fl.. Will be going up to the studio in Bat Cave soon. LOL No realy his studio is in Bat Cave NC. He has some new colors and designs.. Can't wait. Will report.
