I tried to keep the red-orange on the botton to have it a little more realistic like blood. Have most of the shaping done, still need to take the back down and touch up the sides. Allmost completed. Its a LR opal.

That looks great! I like how you left the red and orange on the bottom. It does give it a more realistic look. What are you carving it with?

diggity - I like your carving. The red does give it a blood look and all looks smooth. Something I can not do with a rotary. Jim

Thanks, I was using the diamond tip burs, and modified myself a small flexible disk attachment to the rotarty tool for the sides to gain access to the curves.

Hi, Young sprout!! I think Mr. Penguin looks really good since you've been working on him. Are you going to give him a little polish with cerium oxide?? Nice fang, digdug!! It really does look like it has blood on the end of it.
