Hi Roy, the material pictured is pretty solid ,the problem with these veins is there was a ground movement (possibly several) sometime in the past and it shattered & fractured the upper 4 feet of vein #1, so I had to hand select the solid looking material from a pile I brought home a while back. Vein #1 looks to be getting more solid with depth, but I have not sunk my test pit below 4 feet yet. Vein #2 doesn't seem to be fractured as deep, but I haven't put much time in on it.

Interesting looking material, hopefully the veins get less fractured as you continue down.
