Beautiful PLUMES....and what an intense RED! Awesome cabs Chas. Maybe with the 1st one you could do another curve, match the one side...maybe a little steeper. That way you can save those gorgeous, well defined lower plumes. steve

I agree, that fracture is a heartbreaker. What a gorgeous cab. Man that's some awesome plume!

The fracture isn't quite as bad on the back, maybe you can reverse it? Of course, the fracture may become more apparent if you dome the back more.
Love the rock!

Those cabs are absolutely beautiful. I understand why the crack is annoying to you, but it is almost outweighed by the overall beauty of the cab.

It's beautiful! Doesn't matter that there's a fracture, your expertise held it together during polishing, WTG!!!

It sure is neat how those plumes are isolated within the white translucent areas. Makes you wonder just how they could have possibly gotten there. Super stuff!

Thanks for all the comments. I reworked the cab to remove the fracture in the upper left. Here is the new cab. www.gametrails.com/images/Carey Plume.JPG[/img] Thanks chasfire

Really pretty plumes!! I like the last one best, but the tip looks like it got dented?
For the fractures... what if you filled the crack with epoxy and polished them level? Would that work??
