closest thing we have to a rock shop near Detroit is a store called the "miners den" its in the city of Royal Oak about 20 miles north of downtown detroit. its half high end jewelry store and have lapidary stuff but a lot of what they sell is already polished. Still a cool store to look around. Our rock clubhouse might be open today too and they have rocks for sale and fun just to check out the equipment and so on thats about 45 minutes north of downtown.
