I just signed up and couldn't find where to say hi, so here it is. Bikerrandy told me about this place and about the great people here. I got a rock from him and found out we live pretty close to each other. It also turns out that I have seen his tutorial before. Someone shared the link with me about a year ago. So, once again- it seems we live in a small world afterall. LOL! I am a rockjunquie at heart, a wirewrapper by trade. I love cabbed stones, but I don't know how to cut them, so I rely on the skills work of lapidary artists to produce the objects of my affections. I'm always looking for good cabs. If anyone wants to add a shameless self promoting link to this thread, I'd really appreciate it.  I recognize at least one person here from other sites. Some of you may recognize me too, if I used my working name, but I prefer to stay under the radar here. It would be more relaxing for me. I just want to dish about rocks and wire. If anyone wants to check out my work, you're welcome to look at my store (I'm not spamming, this just happens to be where my work is.) Thank you Roy and Mary Mary, I have lurked here a few times, but thought it was pretty much just for rock hounds and cutters. The only rocks I collect, I have to pay for, LOL! Maybe one day, I'll have my home back to myself and I can get set up to cut rocks. I think that's where my real passion is. |

Welcome to the RTH family. You have got a really great resource in Randy and your boutique is wonderful. I look forward to seeing your work posted on here for drooling purposes. I too rely on others to get my cabs although I have made a few of my own thanks to rockhobbit. I've gotten some awesome cabs from others on the forum too. You might check out the cabs and slabs section where there are always cabbers astounding and amazing us non-cabbers.
