Howdy folks, It's looking like it's going to be a good year for the wildflowers here in Texas. Only a few bluebonnets thus far but these are all over the lawn. They bloom at night and these flowers are big, like 2" wide. Look very alien in he lawn. Yellow prostrate evening primrose.

Those are showy . Looks like a early spring this year 76 here today and forcast all week , im sure it will cool off again , but winter was mild, so ?

Cool Mel! I like the primroses. I don't get down that way during flower season, I want you to be sure and show us some pics.

Pretty Mel. Yall have different flowers in the hill country besides the bluebonnets and Indian paintbrushes that we have.Love Indian blankets,but rarely see any close to my area.The flowers I showed the other day are something I have never noticed in my pasture before.Maybe they only come out following a major drought.Keep showing pics.With the price of gas,dont think I'll be sightseeing.
