My knapping partner is going to a small show in the area this weekend, and asked me to throw a couple more stone/bone knives together for him to take and show. He produced two outstanding points he had knapped, one from a black/purple obsiadian, and another from pink/white flint ridge. Here are the end results. Both pics are the same knives but differant backgrounds to show the detail... The black blade is 4 1/2".... the pink is 3 1/4"..... Thanks for looking! Dave

I think they're both great!!! But... for some reason, I like the white one better. I think it's the odd symetry and the blade is pink! LOL!

Thanks guys! They both turrned out really well. The pink blade knife really fits the hand nicely. The dark blade is really almost too big to be practical, but I figured it could double as a head knocker!! ;D

Very cool, thinking I want Kitchen knife like the black bladed one. Same handle same blade but maybe obsidian?

Those are really nice. I really like the pale colored one. It seems to blend with the rest of the piece.
