it was a great time I started out cutting them 1/4 inch then realized I don't have any way to cab them so I then started to cut them 1/2 inch for tumbling lost part of a couple nails (so when I was done all the nails came off LOL) have rub marks on my fingers from slidding the rocks but Hey I'm happy with what I have done scapes and bruises are nothing to the fun that I had. I need alot of practice though thats ok I have alot to cut. going to get them in the tumbler today hope they come out ok ( No fractures) how do you prevent thaat hum? I did put a soft material (Tile seperaters) in my last tumble and had alot of fractures on the stones is there something better. ??

Love those gravel pits, looks like you picked up some great looking specimens. I usually break the sharp corners on the saw to limit the flaking and keep the barrels at least 3/4 full with a good mix of sizes to keep it from getting too wild in there.
