Hey, Daniel, that's pretty cool. Looks like you're going to be busy for a long time. Great looking stuff. And the marble is beautiful! Paul

The pompom agate and the rhyolite look like bacon!
Or maybe I'm just hungry...better go get breakfast!

That's a butt load of slabs, you must have that saw running 24/7. I like that pom pom agate. Any potential for doublets with that?

Tony, I am a little stumped by the pom-pom. Cut close to regular thickness, the clear part of the agate is a little dark, but it should improve with a thinner cut.
Also, this was a plate, so only about 1.25" thick. I worked to cut it on an angle that gave slabs closer to 1.65" tall. But, the top of the plate had a medium-course grained druz on top, and the interesting little white lines running up to it. SO this argues for a natural edge, which does not preclude a doublet, but does constrain the design.
Finally, at the very bottom is a kind of broad fan-like plume. So and trim should run form top to bottom, with a natural edge on top, and at least following the curve of the bottom edge.
I need to sit and consider a lot of different possibilities and think also a bit about setting.
I will set a piece aside and send it off to you at some point any you can play with it too. I would be interested to see what you come up with.

The rolling hill, the coral and the Owyhee are my top favorites but all what you cut here are beauties.
