just thought i would put up our latest project...we just cant get enough projects lately ;D...pics appear to make it look better than it is. it has plenty of tree sap on it....paint is really faded...none of the upholstery is any good...needs some wiring work...none of the gauges work...in very good shape is the hull...motor...floor...trailer..the main stuff is all nice...its 21 foot and fast ;D hauling butt 351 the guy we got the boat from let us take it to the lake for the last camping trip before it got to cold in november to test it out...but the seat cushions were in such bad shape they couldnt be used...so my wife got out her saws and made some....she cut the wood bottoms...covered them in foam...pimped it out in some 70's fabric for us to use for the weekend ;D. hopefully be finished in 2 months...if the pics come out big again sorry photobucket said they were resized to 800 x 600...kev.

Nix the some wiring is bad.........rip it ALL out, and do new. If you will use the boat in salt water, use tin coated marine wire. You will be glad you did.
Looks like a fast mover.

By the looks of your manifolds it has a jet. What kind of jet? I have a American Turbine 309. What the top speed with that 351? I like the padding that is in front of the left seat seat. Handy for when you need to slam it in reverse for a emergency brake.

woody thanks for the advice...hadn't planned on salt water...but my wife's brother does live on the intercoastal waterway in charleston S.C....we may use the boat in salt water at some point. billy...its not jet driven at all....all prop....the original prop has been replaced with a racing prop....ignition system has been upgraded to MSD racing system....and gear box has been upgraded for top end speed. had a friend riding beside me in his boat when we tested it out on the lake...his boat runs 45 MPH...i was half throttle side by side...when i laid down it...it just ran off from him in a second...so im guessing 68 to 70 MPH...my wife does not like the speed of it at all . want really know untill i get a working speedometer...kev.

65-70 nice! You don't need a speedo,. Just use a GPS.
