Just got this rock and would like to know if anyone has ever work with it and how would l go about cutting and polishing it. I've cut and cabbed this ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png) its not too particular which way you cut it. There can be hidden fractures in it along with the white calcite tends to fracture easy.

Slab with a fine gauge saw, so you waste less, and start your grind on the 220 wheel. It is soft, and make great blue paint...and stain. The best quality artists ultramarine blue is ground up Lapis. Woody
