What are you going to do with all those garden poppies? My Czech ancesters always grew them for the poppy seed to make kolaches,a delightful pastry.I just let them seed out and come up the next year.Just enjoy the beautiful blooms for a couple weeks. snuffy

Beautiful! I grow some similar to those, I got the seed years ago from an old man. They have a blue cross in the base of the flower? Love the doubles too. Mine won't be in bloom until late June at the earliest.

We had some in the flower bed when I was a kid. They grew like weeds. Don't eat too many poppy seeds before a drug test.
