It's mainly about parrots, since many of the chapters were originally published in Bird Talk magazine, and they have a heavy emphasis on parrots. But there is some material on canaries, Pekin Robins, finches too.
Yesterday I published a second, much shorter eBook called, 15 Safety Tips All Bird Owners Must Know. Because I think it really is material all bird owners should know, I have placed this one online for free:

I have to charge the minimum price of 99 cents for the Kindle and Nook versions, because of Amazons and Barnes & Noble's rules, but I have made it DRM free to make it easy to share and, as I said, there is also a free web version you can read on the computer. So feel free to take a look and let me know what you think. Some of this material is second nature to long-time bird owners, but new bird owners can fall into many traps. It isn't necessarily common sense that avocado would be a poison to birds, for example.
