This is the thickish, 1 inch thickish piece we are thinking to face polish both sides. We also made some more standard 1/4 inch thick slabs out of it. Is this Parcelas Agate? I see the nice baby blue rim agate. Or maybe Laguna? It's one of our estate pieces, and we have found both. Thanks in advance.

Kind of hard to say. I suspect it could be but just not sure. Fran

I'd guess either Parcelas or Casas Grandes. I find those two very hard to tell apart from a slab. Casas Grandes often have a little green celadonite on the exterior and more purple tones and often Parcelas have more angular shapes but heck, mostly both types, to me, seem to overlap a lot in how they look.....Mel

Oh gosh, I already had a known Casas Grandes in the package. So Parcelas or Casas Grandes...in any case, it actually looks better than the photo. I've been soaking the slabs to get the cutting fluids out, may inspect them again later in the daylight. Thanks...
