I did glasswork in a previous life. Here's some images that I have left. I tried so many mediums trying to find the one thing that I would stick with. It seems to be wire art jewelry since it is the longest I have ever done one thing. I've been doing it for about 12 or 13 years. I did glass for about 7. I used to paint cars and do body work, too. Doesn't seem like it, but that was a very creative job. I enjoyed it a lot. I have also painted with acrylics and done a little charcoal work.

I'm glad that wampidy has started this idea of sharing our other talents. I'd like to see what others are doing, too.

Thank you!! I really miss doing the glasswork. I had to give it up and I'm still sad about it.

Kurt- Maybe Helen and I will collaborate on something else entirely

cabjunky- Those wrapped cabs may have been the hardest to do. Getting exact shapes without mandrels/forms in boro is very, very hard to do. It has a short working period. (cools fast)

It is strange to hear that. I think most artists don't think of themselves as such. I know I don't, but I've been accused more than once

rocknrob: There was a shop in Portland, don't know if it's still there called Kenny and Zukes who made the absolute best pastrami sandwiches I have ever had. The problem is every restaurant thinks their sandwich is worth $20 now and seldom makes the grade. Nov 12, 2024 9:53:31 GMT -5
