My latest. Carnelian. I never feel like I can discard anything. This was a saw trimming and I did my best to salvage it. I think I succeeded. A pom pom agate that I'm not completely satisfied with. Part of that is because I wish I had more clear agate for contrast. Problem is, it was too cracked to survive. Cherry Creek jasper. Picked up a slab or two at the Houston show. And glad I did. It worked so easy and got a decent shine on it. Love it. Black and blue. These both come from an agate I found in Zapata while hounding with some folks from the HGMS. These are actually the second and third cabs. The first broke while I was shaping the dome. It's salvageable, but I just moved on to my other dops. Glad I did. The bottom edge on the first got chippy, but I expect I will be able to cover that with whatever bezel, wrap or whatever I use to make it a pendant. This one is a little bigger than the first. Thanks for looking. matt

You did a beautiful job on all of these! The first looks like it was always meant to be something more than a scrap! Fran

They all look great. Really nice shine. That cherry creek is an exceptionally nice piece.
