I have one. Don't like it. Can't get enough adjustment with them for clear pics. They're probably OK for taking pics of flat slab details, but won't focus on crystals.

If you're new to the hobby, you're a long way from needing a microscope. Microscopes are most useful if you're a collector of Micromount or thumbnail minerals. Or if you start faceting gems. I've recently moved in to collecting thumbnail minerals, and am therefore looking at scopes with cameras.
