Now that I finally home I can get to what i was going to work on 5 months ago. Picked the gem up on ebay. Hope it works out for picks. Wet Dry

I first seen this jasper on this site. And then stumbled on a chunk surfing ebay. Can't remember wait I paid but I know it wasn't cheap. Going on the saw in a few minutes. Will snap some pics later today. This material was originally dug in the 60s and 70s and was unearthed in the Burns, Oregon area. www.theimage.com/newgems/quartz/jasper/jasper27.html

I think that belvadee looks pretty solid so I hope it works out for picks. Some that I have seems to have some vugs and fracture lines. I love the cat! Fran

Dang, Billy, hope you saved at least 1 or 2 slabs for cabs:). Picks are neat too, but cabs are neater!!! That is a very cute cat btw:).

I still got about half the rock left. I think I will slab the rest thick. The cab I'm working on is almost done and I like what i see so far.
As for the cat. She's only 10 months and is a real suck. Has to stick her nose into everything. She has a water fetish, she hears water running and she's in it.
