I hope the report is accurate that nobody was hurt. Scott

Yeah Randy, I saw that on the news and saw it was in Virginia Beach and wondered how close it was to you. Wild Stuff.

I love seeing our birds in the air, and the good people who fly them. I don't like seeing downed Hornets, at home or abroad. This is distressful but I hope it is true that there weren't any souls hurt. God Bless the USN and those who have served like Randy.

Oh my! I saw it on the news briefly but didn't know where it was. When we go to visit Randy, the jets fly over where we camp and even though it is loud, it always amazes me and makes me proud. So sad to think that one of those has crashed. My son was stationed in Norfolk for 3 years. I'm sure he is sad about this. Thank goodness that miraculously nobody was harmed. Thanks for posting this Randy. Jo

I am so thankful there were no more injuries than what we have had reported. I am sure the people that had the fuel dumped on their cars were not happy but it is so much safer to just dump it and avoid the massive explosion! I know it must have been shocking, having the plane go down so close to you Randy! Fran

Yeah, it was crazy. My buddie's wife was a few blocks away from it and was looking out the window when it went down. She called on the cell phone, we looked and there it was! Truly amazing that there were only minor injuries.
