What I've done this weekend so far...... This is a cab that was purchased in Tucson by a friend that owns Virginia Beach Beads, really beautiful stone!! Noreena, 14k gold on black..... Noreena, copper on black..... Noreena, all black. This one's mine (until someone asks if it's for sale) .... you know how that goes ;D

Randy, that pietersite is gorgeous! I love pietersite and have never seen a stone like that one before. It's stunning and you did a beautiful job with the wrap. Boy, those Noreena's came out clean too. I like the one with the copper the best! Something about the reddish gold tone in the metal really works with that stone.

After all the talk about Pietersite, I broke down and bought a few cheap pendants on ebay just to see what the stuff looks like... but the pendants I got weren't as pretty as yours:). Your wraps get more outstanding by the day!

Pietersite with red is always spectacular.
Love Pietersite, both Chinese and African. Together with Fire Agate; it's what set me on the path to cabbing and carving.

That pietersite has an unbelievably complex pattern! What a scene! Gorgeous pendant.

My wife said the Pietersite cab looks like a river scene with all the blue chatoyancy of the cab being the water running around the rocks with algae and small waterfalls and trees. I didn't notice until she pointed it out to me when I showed her your wraps. The more I look at it the more amazing it seems to me. I can even see golden hills and purple mountains in the background now.

Christopher- yep, I see all of that too. If you look in the foreground (bottom right), there's even a grizzly bear standing up.

Love that pietersite!! It's a nice one. The really good ones are getting so hard to get. I have a few that are waiting to be wrapped and I'm in no hurry because I want to hang on to them and look at them. LOL!

Pietersite is that kind of stone. A good piece really reaches out and grabs you! It was really a treat to be able to see one like that, Randy. Thanks for sharing it with us!
