I would lean towards flourite only because it is such a small piece. 2nd one looks like pet wood or possibly limb cast but would have to see in person to be sure. 3rd one is to far away to tell but my first thought was Montana Agate. Need more pics close up on the 4th one. Sheri

I'd go with flourite, limb cast, Montana agate, and Montana Agate. There's not much to do with flourite except have it in your Mohs test kit for scratch tests or as an example in your mineral collection.

All the pieces are the same rock.....That I do know....Might have to get some of it cabbed than..... My buddy visits Africa a lot too,plus is a professional "oligist" with something doing with rocks and minerals..... Does a lot of mineral hunting around Pikes Peak Area too.......... Hate to call him up and say"hay guess what"....LOL

If it's Calcite it will fizz up when you put a little vinegar on it I believe. It reminds me of Flourite with the way it has the chevron formations in the one side.

Almost certainly green fluorite. The banding in the second piece gives it away, as does the internal fracturing. There was a guy up in Silverthorn that was polishing tons of the stuff a couple of decades ago, so the reference to a friend in Colorado immediately reminded me of the stuff that trickled into every local rock pow-wow for a long time while he was doing this.
