This is just a few slices off of one of the pieces I got from Tony. I took the pictures late so they are not the best. The dark color is a dark green. Close ups A couple of slices of one hunk of chrysacolla from Tony These I cut for someone else Graveyard I thought this was pet wood. It looked like it from the outside, like a little log & the texture on the outside seem light it might be. But after seeing the inside slices, I don't know. Does anybody else have a clue? Tried to get some closer pics but it was getting late With a flash Last cut a piece of obsidian With a flash

Donnie, hard to say not seeing the outside but the "wood" could be a limb cast. Limb casts form different than mineral replacement wood. Usually the wood is covered by hot ash and burns away leaving a void that looked like the wood and fills later with silica. You end up with random agate or other insides and wood exterior detailing. Nice slabs.
