Drag racing here. Drove a drag roadster and rail back in the late 50' and early 60's. Love Indy cars and NASCAR too. Don

Don Cool on your racing experience, never did get into the drag racing myself....just hung around the dirt tracks and still do today. The only thing different now, is when I travel to a dirt track I see what kind of rock hounding is available in the area.

Yup. Love street rods. I'd love to find a 27 T roadster to build. I know where there's an old aluminum hood, nose and belly pan for one. Cut my racing teeth on Model B 4 cyl engines with overhead conversions. Moved up to a flathead V8 in the 60's, with an Ardun OHV conversion. Looked like a Hemi on steroids.

Also a paved straight track in Minot,ND-1/8 mile run........Seen alot of cars out of Canada come down to race on it.. Back home in Roundup,MT,we would head to Lewistown for straight track and towards Billings for oval racing on dirt........

That's cool Don! When I was a kid I loved funny cars, rail cars, and hot rods. I still have found memories of my Hot Wheels Mongoose and Snake set. I still like hot rods and some days I think about building a rat rod, but then decide I'd rather polish my rocks. Chuck
