Definitely spring in Montana. I saw some Linden trees starting to bloom today even in the cold rain. I'm just waiting for the lilacs to bloom.

Yeah, we go back and forth between winter and spring every few days until the 2nd week of June. It was 89 in Sidney, MT on Tue, was 79 here in the south west part of the state. Our lilacs are probably about 3-4 weeks away from blooming.
Todd, we do have rabbits but they seem to prefer the new grasses to tulips. In the outlying areas, deer eat peoples stuff, even dig up the bulbs. They won't eat daffodils though.
