the spread of the rollers look like its set up for 6 and 12 pound barrels but you would need to calculate the RPMS out to see if that works out. theres room on the rollers for (2) lortone 12 lb barrels or (3) 6 lb barrels but I dont know if 1/20 hp would be enough? If you have a source for motors or even ebay for a motor I think the rest of the parts to build that new would be around $70 Its really just (4) pillow block bearings, (2) shafts, (2) pulleys and some scrap wood. good luck, hope the bids stay under or around $50 when its done as for PVC homemade barrels there is a recent post about those too. forum.rocktumblinghobby.com/index.cgi?board=hmequip&action=display&thread=52159

That unit looks like it has the non roller type pillow block bearings on it. I'm thinking you could build one for even less than Chuck has mentioned. One other concern I'd have is the tiny pulley (upon a 2nd look, it's just 2 collars holding the belt in place, running on the motor shaft). Would the belt be prone to jumping off?
For the cost + shipping, I'd build my own. Then it would run whatever size barrels you'd want.
Just my :2cents: Nate
