In Florida the High desert is a cat box in a top floor apartment. One day I will visit, but only for a while, I'm not a flat-lander.

I cannot wait to get the box! Did they give you a possible delivery date? Cannot wait, cannot wait!

It was shipped New Years eve day. Don't know if they actually shipped it then or not. There may have been a delay for the holiday. Just gotta be patient I guess. The P.O. seems to do things in their own time these days.

Guess what I got today, you'll never guess. LOL I got the box, all I could say is ouch when I saw how much that box cost you to ship! We had a funeral to attend this afternoon so we will go through the box tomorrow. I will take photo's and post everything tomorrow evening.

It's a relief to know it got there Tammy. Don't know what's up with the P.O. I tried every day to track it, with no luck. Have fun digging. I certainly did.
Don
PS, we won't worry about the shipping cost. Let's just call it a late Christmas present to those down the line from me.

That is a mighty nice late Christmas, I would like to say thank you. I need to take photos of everything. I did get it down to a medium flat rate box, but there isn't much room to put stuff back in, but I will add some to it. I am hoping to get photo's and get it sent out shortly, but we have several family members with bad health diagnoses and so we are a little distracted and besides that, I am making a necklace to be published in ArtJewelry Magazine, that is due by the 17th. All I can say is busy, busy, busy.
Thanks, Tammy

LOL. Maybe we should call fire & rescue to check Tammy. Make sure she's still OK. She did say that several family members had health problems. Hope she's OK.

Besides having the flu, we just found out that one of my brothers has a squamous cell carcinoma, it is an oral cancer and on the 27th he will go to Portland, Or. on the 29th he will undergo a 14-16 hour surgery where they will take the small bone out of his leg, shape it into a new jaw and use part of his calf muscle to make his gums and chin. I am going to repackage it and send the large flat rate box on. Sorry for the delay you guys.

as far as downsizing from a large to a medium, how do the others feel about it? seems like i would benefit the most from that deal. i would take and not put in, doesn't seem fair to others after me. how about feedback from peeps after me, i don't mind keeping it large, i've been slicing so i can take the time to clean the 14" saw as that one is in the basement. mark.

Mark, from past experience with the traveling box, The further it travels, the larger it seems to grow. I think people are afraid they're going to take too much out.
Tammy, glad to see you're up and around again. Prayers coming for your brother.

I believe it started as a large. It was scaled down to go to Canada. Please try to keep it a large.

I only managed to scale it down to 27 pounds before it went to Canada.

Shame the box wasn't started in the spring. I just ordered a 23-1/2 lb chunk of killer green Mary Ellen jasper to slab.
