Hi, Don, that's some nice material and goodies you placed in the Rock Box! Finally know who "Jake" is now and glad to see he gave his approval on the box.

Hey Jan. Now if only I can get this box sent. We're still waiting on the snow plow to clear our roads. They have to clear the rich folks roads out by the lake first I guess.

Yeeeee Haaaaaaa !! A big ol snow blower came up the road just after dark. Mama came in right behind him bearing hot pizza and 3 days of mail. I didn't have to eat Beefaroni tonight, and I can get to the P.O. in the morning.

Hey Tammy, guess you're going to have to wait a bit longer. Stand by for plan D. When my wife came home last evening, she went straight to bed after eating. This morning her hand was swollen and purple. Two of her fingers looked like little purple bananas. In her rush to leave work yesterday she slammed her hand in the trash compactor door. Soooooo, after helping her get dressed, and dropping Jake off at the vet it was off to the hospital for Xrays. Two broken fingers and a vet bill later I got her home with splinted and wrapped fingers. At least workers comp will cover the hospital, and while at the vet Jake got a bath and nail trim.
Gotta go online and see if the P.O. will be open Monday morning. If not, the box won't get shipped until Wednesday. Sure glad this year is almost over. It's been a rough one.

Well, the P.O. closes at noon tomorrow. If the wife feels up to watching Jake for a couple hours, I'll get the box shipped in the morning. If not, it'll go out Wednesday.
This is a pain in the backside. Wife can't do hardly anything for herself. I'm having to have to help her get dressed, button buttons, hook bra, tie shoes etc. Never know how much a couple fingers mean, until you can't use them. LOL. But we'll survive.
Tammy, I'm sorry for the delay. It sure wasn't planned.

Jake,
I know all about the things that you can't do without a hand or fingers, I had my thumb joint replaced, I broke the joint portion and so they replaced that portion of my thumb joint.
Good luck to both you and her.
I am still excited to get the box.
Tammy

LOL. Got the box already loaded in my truck. Mama is going to dog sit while I run to town in the morning. Jake thinks it's his truck, and it's not supposed to leave the garage without him. But it'll be below zero in the morning. Too cold for him to sit and wait.
Few years back I had both thumbs dislocated at the same time. My wife had to help me with everything. So I guess you could say it's payback time.
Hopefully you'll have the box before the weekend.
Don

Got about an inch of fresh snow this morning. Not enough to slow me down. Headed to town right after my morning coffee. Tracking # coming by noon.

Well, it's finally rolling. # 0312 1430 8000 9421 7717.
Wife picked up the wrong boxes. It's not a flat rate. Boy was that thing expensive to send. Tammy, take lots of rocks, or else you may have to send 2 FRB's.

I guess Tammy can expect to get a lot of goodies then; looking on the bright side!! Maybe it's a good thing I didn't take any of the shipping money out of the envelope:<))

May be warm there and cold here, but not a hurricane in site. Ground doesn't shake like it does in some of those other warm states either. And think of all of the fun you miss by not being able to go ice skating in your car.
