Only got the one box. Didn't weigh it, but it seemed to be well over 20 lbs. it was 27lbs when it left here(BC) Lloyd

That sounds about right. Thanks Lloyd. Sounds like there's a missing partial box somewhere. What does everyone think ? Should I mail what I have, or wait to see if another box arrives ?
I don't know how long I'll be able to wait before shipping. Got a phone call from my last remaining cousin yesterday. She has bone cancer, and doesn't know how much time she has left. I may be leaving for Cleveland, and don't know how long I'll be gone.

I'll pack it up tomorrow, and try to get it shipped on Thursday. I just hope everything will fit a standard FRB.

Hi! I downsized the large FRB to around 27 pounds in a slightly smaller box before letting my friend in Vancouver ship it to itsandbits. I was going to ship the remaining stuff to jakerocks but to be honest, the stuff I took out is not as good as the stuff Don is putting in. There was a bunch of broken obsidian slabs and some rough rock that wasn't that special. If people want me to, I'll go ahead and package the stuff and send it to the next person?

I've also taken some small end nubs and broken bits out of the box. Nothing of cabbing value. I'll go through things better while I'm packing a new box, and take a couple slabs for myself. I'll get pics tomorrow of what I take out and put back in. I'm going to try a medium FRB, but think I'll have to move up to a large FRB. Those Canadian guys really loaded us up with material. lol
There are a couple of small FRB's in the box with material in them. The boxes are getting pretty beat up, so I'll use better boxes for those things too.

A couple of the smaller boxes were starting to come apart, so I repacked them in new boxes. Don't know who originally put these boxes in. Jake decided to inspect my packing.

anybody that looks at the stuff I sent should get it wet before deciding because it looks all whitish till you wet it. I just use a 14 inch chop saw with a brick blade. Lloyd

Things I took out of the box. A slab of ribbon stone from albertarockhound. A small piece of Blue G. A slab of Alberta Glacial Granite. A slab of Jade. A polished Quartz Crystal. And finally a chunk of Rhodonite / Hematite from Lloyd. I'll slab this piece and put all but one slab in the next traveling box. Also a bag of broken and crumbly material that's not worth sending on. I'll toss them in my next tumbler load and see what comes out. What I'm putting in the box. 50 small cab stands, and various jewelry findings. Later today I'll post a pic of slabs I'm adding to the box.

Well, guess I'll try plan B. Too much for a MFRB, so I've put everything but my slabs in a large FRB. Gonna be some room left over. Hope the next in line will take enough out to reduce it back to a MFRB.
Still picking out slabs to put in. Don't wanna send junk. Pic coming this evening.

Finally, here are the slabs I'm sending. 4 slabs of Oolite, A slab of Leopard skin, a slab of Mook, and a unknown. Large slab of Tic Canyon Howelite, 4 small slabs of chrysacola, and a chunk of the same.

Box is packed, labeled and ready to go. Through in a surprise hunk of rough to take up empty space.
Tammy, your mailman is going to hate you. Just weighed the box on the bathroom scale. It came in dead on 28 lbs.
If the weather cooperates, I'll get it to the P.O. tomorrow. 50% chance of snow tonight and tomorrow.

Gotta love living in the boonies. Had heavy snow last night. Can't see where the roads end and ditches begin. I may have to implement plan C. If they get out here and plow the roads in time, the box will go out this evening. If they don't, the box will go out tomorrow. At least I have the snow blown out of my driveway. Now for a cup of hot coffee to thaw out with.

3:15 PM, and still waiting for them to plow our roads. Don't think I'll make the P.O. today.
