Glad the box finally made it to you, Lloyd, and that you heard from Albertarockhound, too! Please post pics of the box and what you select and place inside of it. Yes, the ones with the names on them are donated from those people.

End nub of material in the saw right now. I'll cut as many slabs as possible to put in the box. Almost all of the cracks showing are healed. Oolite.

For those who were ahead of me on the list, after I cut enough for the box, I'll try to send anyone else who's interested a slab. I have 2 large chunks of this to slab.

First 5 slabs off the saw. Started raining. Had to put the saw away for today. More slabs tomorrow.

The box is on it's way back to Jakesrocks, sorry I didn't post sooner. Shipping confirmation # is CX478612806CA, it was sent on Dec. 13 so should be to you in a few days although with Christmas freight it may take a bit longer. I have not got my pics uploaded but will try to do so in the next couple of days. I added some BC jade to the box as well as some Alberta petrified wood and other items. Attachments:

Awesome process-does the box finish with you Don?Or is it heading out again?I have to say that some of the items are beyond belief-wish I had been involved, but would have seriously struggled to match anything I have seen-maybe in a year or two! Seasonal greetings to everyone-you all totally ROCK! All the best John.

Just checked tracking. On the 16th it was sitting in San Francisco, marked International Shipments. Hope Customs doesn't tear the box to shreds. I'll get a pic as soon as it gets here.

John, the box itinerary is on the first post on page one, still a few stops before it returns to Sheri.

With a little luck the box will be here tomorrow. The mailman really, really hates me. That'll be 3 heavy boxes in 3 days. Just checked tracking. It was processed thru the sort facility on the 16th. Just hope customs didn't hold it for inspection or something. If everything goes right, I'll try to have it back in the mail before Christmas.

The mailman really, really hates me. That'll be 3 heavy boxes in 3 days. My best/worst was 7 boxes in 1 day ... 4 of them FRB packs and 3 boxes of rock/boulders. The mailman now beeps his horn when he comes down the road so I can meet him at the mailbox and carry in the boxes for him.. last time he even stopped to see what was in them, I told him rocks and he had to see what they were, had some nice OB in thee along with Jasper from H2MM & he was impressed!! now he don't mind the boxes as he knows I will help him haul it in.

LOL. Mine drives right up to the garage door. If he has more than I can carry in one load, it gets set on the tailgate of my truck. He's 30 years younger than me, so helps me carry the load.
Being rural mail delivery, a while back I had the saw outside and was cutting. He waited until the cut was finished, so he could see what it looked like. Sure hope the neighbors didn't mind a little cutting oil on their mail. lol

Don't know what the status of the box is. The last tracking info I can find is for the 16th, in San Francisco. If it doesn't arrive here today, I'll call the P.O. and start a missing box case.
Don't know what's up with the postal service in California. I had a signed first edition of a Fairburn Agate book missing for 2 weeks. It's supposed to be out for delivery today. I called the P.O. with all of the info, and a lady from the P.O. here in Aberdeen got right on it. She had emails going all over the country, trying to locate my lost book.

Somehow I just don't think this is all going to fit in a MFRB. Rough. Slabs. More slabs. Still more slabs. Box containing tumbled stones and other stuff. Small box with finished jewelry and jewelry supplies. Several baggies that I haven't looked in yet. This doesn't include the things I want to put in. After I take a few items out, I still think we're going to have to upgrade to a large FRB.

Jake, do you have both boxes? Only 20 lbs could ship to Canada so I think the remainder of the box was mailed to you? If not, where is the rest of the origional box? Thank you guys and gals for making this so much fun!!

Only got the one box. Didn't weigh it, but it seemed to be well over 20 lbs.
