I saw a little plastic bag of rocks in a thrift store recently, it was mostly pieces of mica and quartz with a couple of small polished agates. I bought it as it was only a couple dollars. When I got home, I also found a couple of other unexpected pieces, pretty sure the first one is turquoise, and the second one I have no idea, but is kind of a cool specimen. Bill

Wow what thrift store do you go to. they are cool really like the second one the first looks like tuquoise to me.

Verrrry nice!
Long time ago we went to an antique shop in South Carolina. I spied a box of rocks. One was labeled "Middle Earth Burp". I bought the entire box. ;D
