Went to an auction in Mena AR (famous for it's airport : because it listed a rock saw, Genie and rocks and I love rocks. This is what I came home with...14" Lortone Panther and about 300-400# of rocks.

Mind if I ask how much you had to pay for the saw? I know where I can get one with a new blade but not sure how much it is worth.

John: I paid $500 for the saw. I should have gotten it for $450,but the auctioneer gave the other bidder time to call someone for advice or something and they up the bid one more time. I have the original blade that came on the saw (never used) and two others. I am not sure if this is a good price or not.

The one I know of is $600, 3 years old with new 301 blade. I would say you got a great deal.
