I'll be there with a few friends from the Tulsa Rock and Mineral Society. It looks like we will be there Friday as of tonight.

Thanks but not to much into specimens, mostly faceting some right now, doing some cabs and took a class to make wire wrap rings from 22 gauge square wire. Would like to find some Opal and Rhodochrosite rough for cabbing but would have to be sort of small because of cost.
Thanks Ken

Meet Donna and Ken Friday at the Joplin rock swap some real nice people. Wasn't real large but it was Friday morning maybe more people Saturday and Sunday. They did have about anything you needed. Did find some Garnet and one piece of Aquamarine that I can facet and the dealer and his wife (should have remembered their names) gave me two pieces of Neon Blue Apatite. Hock Hound people are great all over the country.

Great to meet you Steve.
It was Phil and Cathy from Kansas City that you got the facet rough from.
Wasn't a very good show for anyone. It was the 1 year anniversary of the Joplin tornado and there were events going on all over town. Fireworks every night. Plus, two colleges had graduation Sat.
