I've been wanting to put together some bolos for my dad and some ranching relatives. I'll be headed up to the ranch this coming weekend (Memorial Day) so I got on my horse and ordered what I needed from therockshed.com and put these three together. First is one for my dad. He went into the hospital this AM for some diabetes-related unpleasant-ness. Unknown jasper from Ralph and Mary Ann: Next is some Tahoma Jasper I bought off ebay and cabbed: Last is some unknown jaspery-agate-y stuff I got from Ralph and Mary Ann (I think, it was in a box of end-cut/scrap that I bought from someone) I'll take the last 2 up with me this weekend. We go every year and I help with the big branding. Hopefully these won't be too "city" for them to wear. They are a pretty proud bunch.

Awesome and very thoughtful and sweet of you to make for your dad and family. Sure hope your dad is going to be okay.
