I'm working near Glendive, MT and the boss decided he wanted to check out a state park on the edge of town called "Makoshika State Park". It is the largest state park in Montana and is named for the Lakota term land of bad spirits (badlands).

That is a large piece of petrified wood under the sign. The area is supposed to have lots of petrified wood as well as dinosaur fossils but it closed to collecting.
