Heres a small batch out of my 7 yr olds tumbler. He likes to have variety so I dont think we get the best shine due to varied hardness but he still likes them so thats all that counts. banded amethyst before and after ![](http://i1183.photobucket.com/albums/x462/drummondislandrocks/tumbles/DSC07738_resize.jpg) ![](http://i1183.photobucket.com/albums/x462/drummondislandrocks/tumbles/DSC08975_resize.jpg) This is a mix of brecciated jasper, amozonite, leopardskin jasper and one that looks like blue lace before and after ![](http://i1183.photobucket.com/albums/x462/drummondislandrocks/tumbles/DSC07841_resize.jpg) ![](http://i1183.photobucket.com/albums/x462/drummondislandrocks/tumbles/DSC07821_resize.jpg) ![](http://i1183.photobucket.com/albums/x462/drummondislandrocks/tumbles/DSC09008_resize.jpg) quartz and citrine before and after ![](http://i1183.photobucket.com/albums/x462/drummondislandrocks/tumbles/DSC07760_resize.jpg) ![](http://i1183.photobucket.com/albums/x462/drummondislandrocks/tumbles/DSC07754_resize.jpg) ![](http://i1183.photobucket.com/albums/x462/drummondislandrocks/tumbles/DSC09026_resize.jpg) And this is his favorite (mine too), its a bahia agate cut in half before and after ![](http://i1183.photobucket.com/albums/x462/drummondislandrocks/tumbles/DSC07764_resize.jpg) ![](http://i1183.photobucket.com/albums/x462/drummondislandrocks/tumbles/DSC08993_resize.jpg) ![](http://i1183.photobucket.com/albums/x462/drummondislandrocks/tumbles/DSC08992_resize.jpg) Thanks for looking Chuck and Andrew

He is off to a great start. My 7 yr old is the same way, loves the different colors. Nice job

What a great batch. The Banded Amethyst came out great, and it can be tricky. They all look good. He did a great job. ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png) Jo

I think its fantastic for 7 year old to be tumbling, and a great batch for him to be proud of.If I could have done that when I was that age....

Yeah snuffy, not sure if he will be sick of rocks after awhile but hopefully my boys will remember all this fun and pass it on later in life. My 12 yr old started this whole thing when he was around 8 collecting rocks and minerals and he is still going as strong as ever. Chuck

Nice stuff. I love seeing the before and after comparison. My favorite is the brecciated jasper.
