The Savannah River Agate polishes beautifully....looks like caramel! A lot of us here are on the DRH and American Rockhound boards so we know where you are I can't wait to see how your river rock turn out. I have some that polished up great (hard, agate like) but some are too soft. I've decided to start a batch of "too soft" rocks and tumble them differently. I know somewhere on this board is a thread about tumbling soft stuff (fluorite, etc)...now if I can only find it...hmmm Sue

Thank you so much Sue!!! It's good to know that DRH now knows I am alive and am slowly digging into to this large FRB I got way back. I am actually trying to sort out pieces from this box and create a batch of nothing but this Savannah. I will remember to make the posts there as well when I get going with this batch.
Thank you Fossil!!!
As Always
