Thanks Steveo. Think I will go. If you see a man with a full gray beard, wearing a black Vietnam Veterans cap with several pins on it and using a crooked walking stick, say howdy to him. It could be me. James

Hope to see you guys there, I'll have a faceting machine there trying to help all I can. There's a lot of faceters there with a lot more knowledge than me.

Have 20 venders and a lot of room, real nice, the room is well air conditioned. Two competitive displays, eight or so non competitive and about 16 special exhibits. That did not count Oral Roberts University putting up a large display. The University has a fantastic museum of rocks and minerals and other related things. If you ever get to Tulsa you need to see. I was demonstrating faceting so pre form on Quartz and then started a small Garnet, probably will finish the 5mm pavilion in the morning and go back to the Quartz. Worked all day Friday setting the place up and was wore out. There were lots of kids with mom and dad some looked at the small facets with a 10X lop and it was great. Did meet James today and had a great talk, hope to meet more. Have to work (well fun) tomorrow so better go relax for awhile.

Well, the wife and I drove the 3 + hours, yes one way, yesterday to Tulsa for the show and loved it. Best show we've been to in a long long time. Plenty of room, GREAT vendors, and SUPER displays. I wish that we had had some time for the talks, several sounded really great. After we got home about 7 last night, I wished I had read the program. I would have liked to seen the demo on wire wrapping.
Steveo, GREAT show.
