Ed was asking me what my husband's favorite rocks are the other day. Believe it or not, my husband isn't so much into rocks as I am but he is into these. He's dreamed about doing this ever since we were kids and finally is...Kind of like me and the rocks. We've been brooding them for the past 4 weeks and last night, when I got home from work, it was time for them to go outside to their new home. Officially known as "Tom's Turkeys" here they are! :-) I think they're pretty cool! Cathy

What a great hobby! Eight little itty bitty baby turkeys!!! So awesome!! Are you gonna let 'em roam free or try to keep 'em on the property? Are they for eatin' or are they gonna be family?
Congrats to Tom! Jo

Hi Jo, When big enough they will be free ranging during the day and in the spring house at night. We aren't going to eat these guys...they are our "seed stock" so to speak. The plan is to let them breed and sell the poults. It's going to be two years till we get to that point, but this is a start and is incredibly fun...not in the same way as the rocks...but still fun!

Tame birds of any kind are a real treat and they are a lot smarter than people think. Good luck with your brood and watch where you sit. lol Jim
