Don't know where I should put this, but it's about cutting rocks-- just little round holes. I was wondering can someone direct me to information about how to drill holes in cabs? I tried searching here and couldn't find anything. I need to know the kind of drill I need and the bits. We have a drill press, but I'm assuming I can't use it with water. Thank you

Forgot to mention, you'll need diamond bits. I think I may have some, not sure how good they are for lapidary but if I find them I'll let you know.

you can use you drill press with a pan of water. I would recommend the smallest core bot rather than a solid wire bot. the solid bits break easy and wear out quick

You'll also want to use a low drill speed to extend the life of your bits.

Chuck, we set the drill press to the highest feed then drill a little at a time by "pecking" at it.
