Tomi asked me this morning what I wanted to do for Fathers' Day and since Chris is working night shift now we try to get out of the house during the day so she can sleep, so we had 2 choices, fishin or rockin, Chris and I went fishing yesterday morning so ROCKIN won out today! We went and dug up an old collection that has sunk into the ground so most of it is less than 12 inches deep, so we go around and poke a steel rod into the ground until we "strike rock" then we dig it out and see if it is a keeper. Found about 1000 lbs of pet wood today and about 750 lbs of graveyard point, a couple hundred pounds of Mystery Mountain, several buckets of Bruneau, about half a bucket of Morrisonite, and about 200 lbs of assorted chrysacolla. Was a great day! My daughter Tomi and her daughter Lizee digging in one of the good spots We were getting ready to head out and took one last picture before we left, the smudge on the photo is because Lizee was playing with the camera with mud on her hands. When we got home lots of the rocks had a mud coating so we hosed them all down and cleaned and sorted what we could, will finish it up one of these evenings after work. Lots of fun and was great to spend time with Tomi and Lizee for Father's Day. Tony

So I'm guessin' the rock is buried in a horse pasture? LOL. What a great way to spend your Father's Day. Sounds like Lizee had a great time too and was a big help! Jo

Fun? That haul looks like pretty hard work to me. But then again,...... anything you can do with family, is always worth it. Thanks for taking us along.

Hey Tony, you live in a bayou? Save some of that Graveyard Point for Quartzsite and I'll lighten your load. Love that stuff.
