I love the chaotic mess of pietersite. Never saw one with so much blue. Gorgeous!

Nice Pietersite, is it Chinese or African?

Thanks everyone! Not sure, but the amount of blue says Chinese to me.

Beautiful piece! I have a number of slabs and a few cabs of very similar Pietersite all from Africa. The orange dots makes me think it is of African origin. Bob

Nice stuff! How was it for working, Geoff? Still haven't gotten to mine yet so I'd be interested to know your experience with it.

Real nice to work. Softer than quartz, harder the seraphinite.

That is a great cab, never have seen such a rich color in other examples. Bill
