Thanks. I did it at the senior center. In the last photo the agates were cut on the Covington 14 inch autofeed saw in about 20 mins per slice, and the turquoise I cut by hand on the 6 inch trim saw in about 2 hours. Turquoise goes fast..... after 2 hours I relinquished the saws as someone else came in that wanted to use them. (Yesterday was a slow day for some reason) So, yeah, not too bad a haul for one day. Usually I only get 4 or so slabs off the big saw, the rest of the saws are kept busy during the 3.5 hours we are allowed to use the equipment. Too many people for what little equipment we have, and 2 of the saws (the 10 inch and another 14 inch drop saw) have been sitting idle for about 4 months waiting for the city to buy new motors.
