The rock on the outside is white & rough feeling, kind of sandy. There was just a little window on the end that gave a hint of purple. This is the first 2 little slabs off of it. ![](http://i1023.photobucket.com/albums/af359/DonniesTreasureShop/Donnies%20Rocky%20Treasures/IMG_3320.jpg) ![](http://i1023.photobucket.com/albums/af359/DonniesTreasureShop/Donnies%20Rocky%20Treasures/IMG_3321.jpg)

What a little treasure, in a rare colour too! Definately keep a slab for display

It does look like amy sage, and one where the amy agate is fairly light so the dendrites show well. also it does not have areas of opaque white and/or butterscotch. For some that is a plus, for others a minus.
I am not so quick to call this a specimen-grade or display slab. If you can cut a nice stone using one of the dendrites or dendrite groups, I would cut it.
