Some of these cabs were started over a month ago and I added some made from the traveling box captures. I finally took the camera and tripod outside in the shade but still had a terrible time getting good photos. I took several shots of each in different light then picked out the best of the lot. I think the group shot is the best overall.

A deep red local agate and a local chert, flint or jasper?![???](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/huh.png)

A pink and green thulite that I got from Mel and a local red and orange agate.

A blue G triangle and for the life of me I can not remember the name of the fossil. I started at 200 grit and still took off too much. I see that I still have some big scratches in the center of it also.

On the left is a stone that I got from sampson in a trade for some slabbing work. This stone is awesome viewed in person and I hope I can find the rest of it. The other is kyanite that Helen sent in the traveling box for everyone. It is soft, easy to work with and the photo does not do it justice at all. A very beautiful stone with lots of glitter.

The stone on the left is the only banded agate that I have found here. A treasure for me. On the right is rhodocrosite from the traveling box and I love this stone. It is soft and requires a very light touch when polishing because pieces will come off the edges but well worth the effort.

Last and maybe least because I could not get a good photo of the stars in the night sky and the contrails running through it. I sent a piece to Krystee and she will do the stone justice I am sure. I believe it is black aventurine because it works and looks like quartz and has the speckles.

Hope you enjoyed the show and stay tuned because I may get off my lazy butt and do more within the next five or six months. PLEASE DO NOT HOLD YOUR BREATH because my butt is very unpredictable.
