Is this still considered wire wrap? This was done with fine silver (.999) with sterling end caps and clasp. Fine silver is an interesting wire to work with, truly "dead soft". You have to be gentle with it. I really like the bright white look it has, sterling looks real dark next to it.

Don, is that the Viking Weave? It's lovely. Not wirewrap, but in chainmailled category. Glad to know you can do it with fine silver.

Cool! I am assuming you have some sort of draw plate you use to pull it through to even it all out before terminating the ends? it looks very much like spool knitting I used to do as a kid only with wire!

Drawing does make it lengthen, and it sort of makes things more uniform. Wish I could pull my cabs through it!
