I was at work, but Tom got a photo of this. If you look closely, the big one in the back is a wild mama turkey and the little fuzzy ball is one of her six babies that she brought in to meet our brood!!!!! Is that not cool or what? Cathy

Yeah, he did a great job with the photos! From what he said, she just seemed to want her's to "interact" with ours. One of ours did get out a couple of days ago. Tom found it down in the woods. I'm wondering if he was trying to follow her! She is a beauty!!!

They're all cute little guys. I noticed that they're all looking in the same direction, what are they looking at?

LOL! Before we got them, we were going to name them after the holidays they would be dinner for but once we got them, they were 1 day old, we decided that we'd like to keep them for breeders and sell the babies. Eventually they are going to be able to wander. With the wild ones showing such an interest, I'm not sure what is going to happen but we will see. These guys are genetically close enough to the wild that they will be able to breed with them too so we may come up with a new variant of turkey! Anyway, I'm not seeing these 8 making it to the table. We've had too much fun raising them.
