I will be in Knoxville, TN for the next week. Any rockshops or hunting spots I can fill a LFRB at??
Thanks to everyone!

Thanks Don. Nothing their for the way east side of the state. Looks like Sieversvielle has blue quartz. I will be in that town to visit Smoky Mtn Knifeworks, so will also seek a rockshop.
Way out west in midstate, looks like some gorgeous agates abound.

From what I've been told, those beautiful agates are getting few and far between. Mostly private land. The agates are found mostly in stream banks which are still public land.

I am here in Knoxville. Seems there are no rock shops to be found. Anybody know about the blue quartz at Sevierville??

I found two rock shops, one in Gatlinburg that was a little (alot) slim on inventory. I bought an overpriced chunk of kyanite that looked pretty nice. I also hounded a hunk of massive white quartz from a local river.
The other was in Sevierville across the highway from the Rocky Mountain Knifeworks store. They close at 5PM so I could do nothing but look from the road. Looked to be a huge variety of some nicely colored slag glass and perhaps a bunch of local stuff like calctie and kyanite. I was 50+ yards away so I could be so very wrong.
